Great Props For Maternity Photoshoot

Hey bumped up mama! Hopefully, by now, you are assured of your baby’s health and wellbeing all thanks to the features that a baby scan offers. So, it's good timing to capture some great pictures of the amazing phase you are going through. Here we present some great props to consider for your maternity photography.

1. Baby Scan

No matter which ultrasound scanning you opted for, your baby scan clinic offers a small sonographic image. You can use this scan picture as an excellent prop for maternity photography. Just hold above or on your bump and pose for a flawless picture. You can also attach a small pink or blue colored bow on the picture if your baby scan offers the gender revelation

2. Older Child

In case this one is not your first, then you certainly have another one at home, so bring them for the photoshoot and have them pose alongside you. They can hug and kiss your pregnant belly. You can certainly show this photograph to them later on, when they are arguing over trivial stuff to bring a smile on their faces.

3. Furry Baby

If you have a loving pet, with or without fur, don't left them either. Bring your beloved pet and include them in the family picture as they are a part of your family too. You can keep their paw or head on the bump and you are all set.

4. Balloon

Even though the free-floating balloons might seem the exact as you are feeling with a heavy bump, but they do make a great prop for the maternity photography. You can either go for multicolored balloons or pick a single colored which matches with your attire. But if your baby scan offers gender revelation, you can use either pink or blue colored balloons as well.

5. Placard

Using placards are a quick and clever way to convey any message you want to. It can either refer to the due date or the gender of the baby or even a loving message for your baby. Just write in a font is visible and readable even though the picture and you are all set to capture some great shots.

So, which one did you love the most? Let us know. Also if you too had your maternity photographs ready with you feel free to share them with us for the other to-be parents to get the idea.
